چکیده
Abstract Measurements of the time arrival shock waves from explosions can serve as powerful markers evolution front for determining crucial parameters driving blast. Using standard theoretical tools and a simple ansatz solving hydrodynamics equations, general expression Mach number is derived. Dimensionless coordinates are introduced allowing straightforward visualization direct comparison blast produced by variety explosions, including chemical, nuclear, laser-induced plasmas. The results validated yield wide range using data gram-size charges to thermonuclear tests.

Wave propagation theory in offshore applications
A frequency-wavenumber-domain formulation is presented in this paper for calculation of the Green's functions and wave propagation modes in a stratified fluid body underlain by a layered viscoelastic soil medium. The Green's functions define the solid and fluid displacements and fluid pressures due to uniform disk loads acting in either the soil or fluid media. The solution is in the frequency ...

متن کاملTurbo-BLAST for wireless communications: theory and experiments
TURBO-BLAST is a novel multitransmit multireceive (MTMR) antenna scheme for high-throughput wireless communications. It exploits the following ideas: the Bell Labs layered space time (BLAST) architecture; random layered space-time (RLST) coding scheme by using independent block codes and random space-time interleaving; sub-optimal turbo-like receiver that performs iterative decoding of the RLST...
